A fresh lick of paint for Marsh Mill Interiors

Marsh Mill Interiors create amazing handmade, bespoke furniture from their workshop in Preston headed up by founder and lead designer Leona Marsh. 

Leona’s passion for using re-claimed timber and steel to create rustic pieces of furniture is infectious.

With the brand growing and evolving, Leona wanted a stylish and easy to navigate company website just in time to celebrate their 3rd anniversary.

Delivering product-led design with slick functionality

Whilst handmade, bespoke furniture is (and always will be) the primary focus for Marsh Mill Interiors, their range is ever-growing and evolving.  Marsh Mill needed a website that could support its growing product range and keep up with their ambitions for much more in the future.

But that didn’t mean that they wanted to sacrifice the design, especially considering their exceptionally visual products. The website design needed to showcase them in all of their glory.

We worked with Marsh Mill Interiors to choose a platform and design that would support their product range, show it off and be easy to navigate.

Detailed research was undertaken to identify the key terms and phrases Marsh Mill Interiors would like to appear for. From this, we created a detailed structure for the website, outlining content and categories and outlining the user journey from browsing to purchase.

Once the structure was in place, we began to incorporate Marsh Mill Interiors brand and product photography using eye-catching colours to effectively communicate the ethos of the Marsh Mill Interiors brand.

Having worked with Leona for a number of months, we have got to know her and her company. This means that we have a firm understanding of her business, it’s short-term goals and long-term ambitions.

The journey began by focusing on onsite SEO, mapping out the key terms which needed to be implemented within the website in order to attract new customers.

Looking at the customer purchase journey, fixing issues and making changes to streamline the process has resulted in a very successful flurry of sales which has continued ever since.
